Our program allows you to use your creativity and motivation to take your organization to the next level by selling quality products at a great price, and you do not have to dedicate yourself to any minimum amount of sales, or to pre buy inventory and possibly have the chance of not selling it all. Shortie’s Candle Company will mail you your fundraiser brochures, your Sample Sniffer Tabs, and your 10 sample candles to help make your fundraiser a success. Your organizer and Shortie’s Candle Company will work together to choose the 10 fragrances that statistically best fit the time of year and your geographic area. You will have 10 scents in our classy new 9oz curved jar for customers/supporters to choose from. With all checks made out to your organization you are in control of your finances and future. All you need to do is fill out the Begin Fundraiser Form and Fax or Mail in your Organizations Tax ID and you will be on your way to another success story. From Swim Teams to High School programs and any organization in between Shortie’s Candles is here to help you raise your goal amount of money needed.
Shortie’s Candles Fundraiser Program is designed to help achieve the maximum amount of revenue for your organization. Like all fundraisers you will be selling a product to help achieve a goal you have set. Now you have set yourself apart from other fundraiser programs because you are now going to represent the best in scented candles…Shortie’s Candles. With our fantastic marketing flyer to help with sales, our wonderful product guarantee, and wide selection of scents for customers to enjoy-your fundraiser will succeed. Remember your program is as successful as you and your participants’ commitments and goals are.
There is a beginning $20.00 charge to receive your start up kit (Order Forms, Headquarter Candle Samples, shipping etc.) which is then applied to your final invoice as a $20.00 payment providing that your order includes at least 30 candles. This makes all of your materials free at the end of your fundraiser and will be extra money towards your organizations goals.
With all candles, there will small shipping charge per candle from our special (lower) fundraiser pricing. All 9 OZ candles will be sold at $12 + $1.00 for shipping=$13.00. If you are in or around Reno, Nevada, and you can pick up your order, we will not add the shipping charge and your selling price will be $12.00.
Your organization will receive 1 free brochure per participant and a few extra for extremely dedicated fundraisers. Each participant should set a goal on how many candles they would like to sell. Having a goal is easier to achieve because they have a destination.
Your first step should be to figure out the amount you would like to raise and calculate what your organization has to sell to accomplish its goal. Take the amount you would like to raise, and times it by 2.5. This will give you the dollar total (sales) you will need to accomplish your goal, as you will earn 40% of all candle sales. Next, take this number and divide it by 12. This will give you the number of candles you will need to sell to accomplish your goal.
